Bianca Sloane, born 2000, is a contemporary Irish painter based in Galway City. She creates paintings with a mixture of media, often in a large scale, using bright colours and bold lines.
After completing her Leaving Certificate in 2018, she began studying for a Bachelor’s in Contemporary Art in the Atlantic Technological University (previously Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology). Through her studies she began exploring various topics including identity, politics, society and culture pertinent to her generation. Her ambition is to create original visually intense work that evokes emotion in viewers. She participated in The Third Grade, and exhibition held in 2021 in Salthill, Galway. A unique shop window exhibition that was held through the Covid-19 Lockdown of 2021.
